El delantero de Alianza Lima, Roberto Ovelar, dijo tener como objetivo a corto plazo vestir la camiseta de la selección paraguaya y que, en un futuro, sea recordado en la historia futbolística de su país.

Por el momento, el ‘Búfalo’ sigue de cerca todos los partidos de su selección en la Copa América.

“Quiero ser el nuevo delantero de mi selección, por ello me esforzaré al máximo para seguir destacando en mi club y hacer los méritos del caso para ser llamado, esta es una de las metas que tengo en mi carrera profesional”, agregó.

Además, el delantero íntimo refirió que le gustó el desempeño de Paraguay frente a Brasil y está seguro que la selección guaraní seguirá avanzando en la presente Copa.

“Fue un buen partido, sé que el equipo paraguayo seguirá creciendo, mi deseo de estar presente es porque quiero aportarle a mi país, pero eso es algo que se dará en su momento como mérito a mi esfuerzo”, concluyó.
