Desde que firmó por Universitario, el “Romario de los Pobres” no cabe en su pequeño cuerpo de tanta felicidad. “Siento que soy otro”, nos dice Pedro García, quien prometió “romperse” en cada partido. El “Chato” habla de todo con LÍBERO, incluso de Alianza Lima, el rival a vencer esta temporada 

 

 

–La “U” ha gastado mucho y algunos clubes ya se están quejando…

–Hoy el fútbol genera muchos ingresos. Los clubes deben entender que el fútbol es esto, movimiento de mercado. Si te proponen una nueva cifra uno va a tomar la decisión de marcharse al mejor postor.

 

 

–¿Te preocupa que en algún momento dejen de cumplirte?

–Claro que me preocupa, pero la Junta Transitoria ha venido pagando deudas pasadas. Confío mucho en la palabra de Julio Pacheco, él ha prometido que va a cumplir y le creo.

 

 

–¿La familia tuvo mucho que ver en tu decisión de fichar por la “U”?

–Mi esposa lo decidió junto conmigo. Mis hijos están contentos de que su papá esté en un club grande.

 

 

–Tú tienes un pasado aliancista…

–Sí, hice mis divisiones menores en Alianza y le agradezco a Dios por haberme permitido jugar allí. Mis compañeros eran Waldir, Jayo y Pajuelo. Siempre le estaré agradecido a la gente de Alianza, pero hoy por hoy soy de la “U”, hincha crema y me debo a ellos.

 

 

–¿Es cierto que eres hincha de la “U”?

–Desde chico. Siempre miraba a Freddy Torrealba y decía que quería ser como él. También me gustaba mucho el juego de Dolmo Flores y de Tomás Silva.

 

 

–¿Te gusta cómo se ha reforzado Alianza Lima?

–Ellos están próximos a jugar la Copa Libertadores y vi que han fichado a Castro y Peirone. Si los han traído es por algo, deben ser buenos. Veremos.
 

 

–Lo que le han hecho a Joel Sánchez es de locos…

–Es injusto, tienen que respetarlo. Le cortan las piernas justo cuando se viene la Copa, eso no se hace. Si quiere surgir que lo dejen. Qué rabia.
