La promesa celeste que le hicieron los jugadores de Sporting Cristal a Gianfranco Espejo fue cumplida. Su mejor amigo, Minzum Quina, se encargó de anotar el gol del triunfo, que fue dedicado al joven volante que perdió la vida en un accidente en Tumbes.

“Hemos mejorado bastante y queremos mantener esa actitud. Me sentí con confianza para pegarle. El gol y el triunfo van para mi amigo Espejo, él siempre nos da fuerzas desde allá arriba”, indicó el volante de Cristal tras el triunfo ante la escuadra santa.

El volante Minzum Quina , quien fue la figura celeste, no olvidará este partido en el que marcó un golazo de tiro libre que, a la postre, le dio la clasificación a los celestes a cuartos de final del Torneo Intermedio. Ahora se medirá ante el ganador de hoy entre el Juan Aurich y Alianza Unicachi.
