El ex internacional albiceleste le respondió a Julio Grondona y al igual que el presidente de la Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), pronosticó que Lionel Messi "va camino a ser el mejor de la historia".

"Si (Julio Grondona) dijo eso, entonces hoy tomó la pastilla correcta. Es en lo único que estoy de acuerdo con Grondona", sostuvo el astro argentino en declaraciones a Fox Sports Radio Del Plata.

Maradona consideró que si el 'crack' del Barcelona prolonga el éxito actual de su carrera "será bueno para todos los argentinos" porque se traducirá en títulos "mundiales, de Copa América y grandes partidos".

"Ojalá se le dé todo. Me alegro por Lionel porque es un buen chico y tuvo una infancia en la que tuvo que pelear mucho para jugar", completó.
